Uncle Nate planted a rose garden for Aunt Jessie and for Rose.  This object is important because it symbolizes Rose's death and helps Aunt Jessie remember her.

Olympic Event

If I could participate in any Olympic event, I would most definitely do Beach Volleyball. I love to watch Misty May and Kerri Walsch. I love volleyball to begin with, but it is even more fun to play in the sand because you can dive for balls and not worry about getting hurt. It is like playing in a giant sandbox.

Although it is fun to play in the sand it can be much more diffcult that playing on an indoor court because you have to use mor eenergy to jump high above the net for spikes and blocks because the sand is so soft.

Favorite Book Series

By far my favorite book series is the Harry Potter Series. Ever since I read them I feel like every other book falls up short compared to them. I really enjoy reading fantasy and magic because it helps me to escape from my everyday responsibilities. since I enjoyed reading "Harry Potter" so much, I decided to start reading "The Lord of the Rings" series. These books are a bit more challenging, but they are just as fun, exciting, and full of fantasy as the Harry Potter series. I am still just reading the first book in the series (The Fellowship of the Ring) and it is excellent. I know that it will only get better too.

"Which famous person living or dead do you admire the most and why?

The famous person whom I admire the most is Abraham Lincoln because he helped to change our country for the better. He lived from 1809 to 1865 when he was assasinated. He is most famous for being the President of the United States during the Civil War. He created the "Emancipation Proclaimation" which is a law that was passed to free the slaves in the South during that time. After researching him I learned that he had to have a special bed made for him because he was so tall!
